Berghs Grad Show 2012: Great Minds Don’t Think Alike
I’ve been given lectures on digital strategy and internal communications at Berghs School of Communications in Stockholm for the last couple of years, and the school keeps building its reputation. Now it’s time for their annual grad show and my gosh how I like their promo video, Great Minds Don’t Think Alike.
If you can’t see the video, click here.
I love it. Messaging that forces you think. Imagery that slaps you in the face. And reasoning that actually means something.
I don’t think any other communications education can match Berghs right now. They don’t have an academic curriculum, but a lot of the students already have an exam from other academic institutions before enlisting at Berghs. And the fact that the marketing universe has changed so rapidly in the last couple of years, placing Digital First, has only made the school more relevant it seems.
I also know there’s exciting things going on over at Hyper Island, so maybe that’s the way to go for anyone interested in a strong marketing education in Sweden; first an academic degree and then a shorter and focused training at one of these elite schools?
In any case, check out and sign up for their Grad Show 2012 in Stockholm.
Sidenote: Any of you remember this video, where student Erik Högfelt from Berghs | Live video pitched Doktor Spinn? He’s not at Berghs anymore, since he today is a superstar creative at NYC agency Droga5. Go Erik!
